Welcome March 2009, Do you spend 85 a week on fuel ? You'd save nearly 2000 if running on Autogas / LPG. Here are examples of our LP gas installations and Autogas conversions. These photos show the unobtrusive LPG conversions by Arun Autogas, of West Sussex. Included here are lpg conversions to Britsh, Japanese & German vehicles. There are various BMW, Volkswagen VW, Seat, Audi engines - including Turbos and Supercharged version. Renaults, numerous Mercedes Benz autogas conversions and almost the entire range of Vauxhall vehicles. Examples of LPG Autogas conversion systems fitted to Land Rovers, 4x4's and SUV even the H2 & H3 Hummer. Seperate autogas conversion photo albums for Land Rover Discovery, Defender, Discovery Series 2, Classic Range Rover, LSE, 4.4 litre Discovery 3 and the Supercharged Range Rover Sport. LPG conversions to all the 4.0 4.2 4.4 & 4.6 and 4.7 litre V8 Land Rover and Jaguar engines. Also included here are examples of LPG conversions to Toyota Land Cruiser 6, V6 & V8's , Mercedes Benz M-Class ( ML320 ), The Chrysler Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee's and the Mitsubishi range of 4x4 - the Shogun, Pajero, Triton and Challenger. For vehicles after 1999 Arun Autogas fit BRC Sequent their prefered gas injection conversion system. Prior to 1998 the V8 Discovery and Range Rover with 3.5, 3.9, 4.2 and 5.7 are perfectly suitable for an aspirated LPG conversion system. But we would prefer to fit a quality gas Injection system.

The London Congestion Charge extension can be avoided by running the current Ford Transit or Berlingo/Partners fitted with our LPG systems. We have close ties with several commercial dealerships & brokers, who can assist in sourcing your next vehicles. The Citroen range includes the Berlingo and the LWB HiTop Relay. Renault offer a gusty 2.0 litre Traffic that is offered as a Vauxhall Vivaro and Nissan "something-or-other". Light vans can save money and not waste load capability. Arun Autogas installations have in the past received grants on Citroen Berlingos, Peugeot Partners and the Suzuki Supercarry have been claimed. Certain Autogas converted vans become exempt from the London Congestion Charge. Which is currently charged at 8 a day, since July 2005, by running an LPG vehicle one can save 2300 per year in congestion charges and a lot more if you occasionally get fined....

Probably the best Autogas system on the market up to 2003. AG systems is supplied by Nicholson McLaren Engines. Some vehicles conversions are congestion charge exempt in London.

Tartarini eTAgas & TEC 97 systems

For many years we fitted the TEC 97 system with few problems. When the eTAgas injection system was introduced we were delighted with the initial results. We have since found that eTAgas regulators in some cases seem to be unreliable and these need constant adjustment to ensure good performance or even economy. We are hugely disappointed with eTAgas. But things do change, the SGi systems are amongst the best on the market.

From now on NOT all Autogas - LPG systems are the same. Icom and Nicholson McLaren Engines have introduced LPG Liquid gas injection - JTG. Not all systems have regulators which change the liquid gas into vapour. They all have dashboard mounted switches and an external filler. Examples of Teleflex GFI (aka AG Systems) SGi, BRC Sequent, Iwema systems and Tartarini eTAgas or TEC97. We only fit European tanks with electric opening valves. Either liquid or vapour take-off to feed BBQ's and cookers.

So if you are a competative water skier we can make your Ski Nautique or Master craft perform powerfully with perhaps only 200-300rpm at Maximum throttle being lost. We supply the same systems that the Chile Water Ski team use, dont settle for less.

Partner & Berlingo Autogas conversion

The Citroen Berlingo First and Partner vans are both London Congestion Charge Free (exempt) when used with a specific LPG system. Arun Autogas recommend BRC Sequent installation / conversion. Multiple seat utility vehicles are becoming more frequent. Many Taxi / Private Hire companies regularly put 50 000miles a year on our LPG Autogas conversions. The petrol powered vehicles are less expensive to buy and with an LPG conversion can be significantly cheaper to run than their diesel counterparts. The 3.3 litre Voyager can return on with an autogas conversion 21mpg on a high speed motorway run. Which is similar to 44mpg than one gets from a diesel estate car.

Industrial petrol engines can run very reliably on LPG. They are cheaper, lighter, quieter and less polluting than the equivalant diesel. And the fuel is cheaper than "red" diesel.
